The Technical Writer must produce high-quality and understandable documentation to support the project teams. The documents must be clear, concise, and accurate in conveying information to the user while maintaining compliance with Quality Management and applicable standards and regulations. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and editing quality system documents such as, standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, training documents and presentations, and validation deliverables.
Your role
Performs large or complex portions of documentation projects across multiple product lines or specialization areas. Works on technically complex and high-impact projects and deliverables where ingenuity and basic business understanding is required. Responsibility includes creation, revision, and approval of documentation and ensuring consistency across assigned area(s). Contributes to the project strategy to meet target goals and milestones, evaluates resource allocation needs, and monitors project risks to determine the best mitigation path. In summary:

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Organize and transform raw data into usable tables and graphs
  • Make suggestions or corrections with the team to ensure verbiage is clear and concise
  • Review and peer-edit the work of other writers to ensure high quality standards
  • Interface cross-functionally within the product development teams
  • Participate in department projects


Your profile

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in technical writing or business, or related technical field
  • 1 - 3 years of technical writing experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with focus on Word
  • Ability to work both in collaboration in a project team and independently on tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently while still maintaining high quality in work
  • Proactive work habits and assertiveness in creating and owning documents
  • Aptitude to understand engineering and other technical information
  • Problem solving skills and an ability to respond and adapt to change
  • Exposure to Medical Device industry
