At Eurotrol, we rely on the Editor to play a crucial role in our quality management system. The editor must produce high-quality and understandable documentation to support the project teams. The documents must be clear, concise, and accurate in conveying information to the user while maintaining compliance with Quality Management and applicable standards and regulations. The editor will be responsible for creating and editing quality system documents, such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, training documents and validation deliverables. The editor also makes sure that the organization follows document retention policies by retrieving those documents upon request and archiving inactive records and documents. From early on, you will be given challenging assignments and take ownership and responsibility.


Performs large or complex portions of documentation projects across multiple product lines and specialization areas. Works on technically complex and high-impact projects and deliverables where ingenuity and basic business understanding is required. Responsibility includes creation, revision, and approval and retention documentation and ensuring consistency across assigned area(s).

  • Make suggestions or corrections with the team to ensure wording is clear and concise
  • Review and peer-edit the work of other writers to ensure high quality standards
  • Participate in department projects
  • Store, manage and track records and documents
  • Make sure that documents are accurate and maintain their quality and integrity 
  • Processing documents for revision and approval
  • Organizing documents from conception to distribution and filing
  • Archive inactive records and documents
  • Assess the accuracy of the documents



  • Minimum of 32 hrs per week
  • At least a bachelor’s degree
  • 1 - 3 years of technical writing experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with focus on Word
  • Ability to work both in collaboration in a project team and independently on tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently while still maintaining high quality in work
  • Proactive work habits and assertiveness in creating and owning documents
  • Ability to understand engineering and other technical information
  • Relevant work experience and knowledge of Documenmt Management System preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 13485:2016) preferred
